WildPlay Maple Ridge – Ropes Courses, Ziplines & Outdoor Fun

Location & Directions

WildPlay Maple Ridge is located at 23485 Fern Crescent, near Maple Ridge Park and Golden Ears Provincial Park—both of which are just a short drive away. Free parking is available at WildPlay. The surrounding area also features nearby off-leash dog parks and walking trails.

There are additional WildPlay locations in Victoria, Nanaimo, Niagara Falls, and two sites in the United States.

TIP: If you get an annual pass, you can do the ropes course adventures at any of WildPlay’s three British Columbia locations.

 

 

Adventure Courses & Activities

Below are details about the different courses and activities at WildPlay in Maple Ridge. The activities in Victoria and Nanaimo are similar. In Victoria, however, there is also an additional, dedicated ziplining course. The Nanaimo location has one of those too, but also a Bungy Jump as well as a Primal Swing.

 

1. Classic Course

  • 3 levels of obstacles set 30–60 feet in the trees.
  • Includes log ladders, rope bridges, swings and a few ziplines.
  • Ages 7+ and at least 4’8″ tall. Weight limit: 300 lbs.
  • Takes between about 90 minutes and 3 hours to complete.

 

2. Extreme Course

  • Adds more intense challenges and ziplines—higher, faster and tougher.
  • Ideal for teens and adventurous adults.
  • Takes about 30 minutes to complete.
  • Available as a standalone or add-on to the Classic Course at a discount.

 

3. Kids’ Course

  • Designed for children ages 5–12 (minimum height 3’9″).
  • One level with two rounds included.
  • Perfect introduction to aerial adventure!

 

4. “What’s To Fear” Jump

  • Leap from a 40-foot platform with a bungee-like safety cord.
  • Minimum age: 5 years. Max weight: 285 lbs.
  • A fun and thrilling free-fall experience with a controlled descent.

 

5. Axe Throwing

  • A one-hour session for guests ages 12 and up.
  • Lightweight hatchet axes with multiple throwing lanes.
  • Fun, challenging, and surprisingly addictive!

 

 

 

Camps & Kids Programs

WildPlay runs Anti-Gravity Camps during spring and summer, as well as one-day sessions on Pro-D days. These programs are ideal for active kids looking to climb, zip, and explore in a safe, supervised environment.

Helpful Tips

The following points are good to know before going to WildPlay:

Tip #1: Observers are free, meaning you don’t have to pay to watch.

Tip #2: Washrooms are available on site. Be sure to use them before putting on a harness!

Tip #3: Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park.

Tip #4: Closed-toe shoes are required (but they can be rented if you forget).

Tip #5: Get an annual pass so you can go back again and again (including at the adventure park’s locations in Victoria and Nanaimo).

Victoria:

  • Similar to Maple Ridge, but includes a dedicated zipline tour with guides.

 

Nanaimo:

  • WildPlay’s largest park.

  • Features Bungy Jumping, a Primal Swing, and a dedicated zipline course.

  • Bungy Jumping and the Primal Swing take place over a river canyon—extreme thrills!
