Circo Osorio Circus – A Touring Latin-Inspired Circus in Metro Vancouver
Circo Osorio Circus is an exciting international circus that tours British Columbia with stops in Metro Vancouver. It usually visits Delta (Tsawwassen), Abbotsford, Richmond and Coquitlam, plus sometime Surrey. The Latin American-influenced show brings together world-class performers for a family-friendly experience filled with acrobats, comedy, and high-energy acts—all at an affordable price.
About Circo Osorio
Circo Osorio has its “The Circus Comes to Town” tour, showcasing global circus talent with a distinct Latin flair. The show is produced by a family originally from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, but now based in Las Vegas. The circus features performers from Latin America, but also sometimes from as close as Canada or as far away as Russia.
Unlike traditional circuses from years ago, Circo Osorio doesn’t feature exotic animals. Instead, the spotlight is on human talent, including acrobats, aerialists, contortionists, quick-change artists, motorcycle stunt riders, a seasoned ringmaster and a comedic clown.
Each show lasts for about an hour or so, with a 15-minute intermission for snacks, restroom breaks, face painting opportunities and souvenir shopping.
What to Expect at the Circus
The circus takes place under a giant blue and white Big Top tent set up in the parking lots of major shopping centres. The tent seats between around 650 to 700 people, with great sightlines from every seat (but especially from the VIP chairs at ringside).
During intermission, guests can purchase popcorn, cotton candy and drinks. Flashing-light toys, balloons, and circus-themed souvenirs are also available.
Important: Transactions at the venue are cash-only. ATMs are usually available on-site, however, or nearby at the mall.
